Roof Replacement Case Studies: Leaking Roof in Warrenton Gets Fixed the Right Way

After damage was discovered during our inspection, and we had worked with the home owners insurance company, it was time to give an estimate and help the customer improve the condition of their roof. Many times unqualified repairman, or home owners trying to make a cheap fix, make things worse or just more expensive. We found this very strange water diversion device on the roof that was now leaking too. Originally the leak was because the pipe was not properly flashed and the roof was installed wrong around it. 

We had a great solution for the home owner! We removed the structure that was supposed divert the water all together and replaced the rotten plywood below it. We installed ice and water barrier around the pipe too not to mention synthetic underlay over the entire roof. This is the proper way for the roof installation per industry standards. The home owner can sleep better at night knowing their new roof was installed by professionals.
